Graduate in Environmental and natural sciences at the University of Udine (Bachelor, 2014) and in Environmental Biology at the University of Trieste (Master, 2017), I’m interested in Conservation and Wildlife management of meso-large carnivores and birds.

Since 2014, I collaborate with Therion Research Group within different projects: transects/snowtracking of grey wolf in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Life Wolf Alps project), monitoring of golden jackal and wild cat in Friuli Venezia Giulia and diet analysis of Eurasian otter in Friuli Venezia Giulia. I’m part of two other associations in Friuli Venezia Giulia: Associazione Naturalistica Cordenonese (as volunteer since 2015 and councillor since 2018) and ASTORE FVG (since 2017). With these associations, I carry out activities like naturalistic guide (Magredi in province of Pordenone), speaker in conferences and monitoring of birds in province of Pordenone within the IWC and MITO projects.

In 2016, I’ve started an own research project focusing on the monitoring of Barn owls in province of Pordenone. The results of this work were presented at the XIX Italian Congress of Ornithology (CIO) as a poster (September 2017) and as a talk at the VIII Faunisti Veneti meeting (October 2017).

Since May 2015, I started to follow the bird ringing activities within the MonITRing project at the ringing station “Risorgive del Vinchiaruzzo” (Cordenons, Pordenone province). In August 2017 I started my “trainee-ringer” activities at this ringing station, also taking part in the ringing activities of the “Alps Project” (October 2017) at the ringing station of “Malga Confin” (Venzone, Udine province).

From January 2018, I started a 6 months’ internship at the CIBIO-InBIO of Lisbon (Portugal), focusing mainly on the diet analysis of Eurasian otter in North-East Portugal. In Portugal I participated also at side projects like bird ringing activities within the PEEC project and Census of waders in the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve and trapping of the Pyrenean desman in North-East Portugal.

During the free-time I like birdwatching and trekking in Magredi and mountain environment of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
